World's longest. King cobras usually grow about 3 to 4 meters long, and the record was nearly 5.85 meters (19.2 feet), that's longer than a car!

Not a true cobra. Despite its name, the king cobra isn't a real cobra. It has its own special group called Ophiophagus.

Asian explorer. It lives across a huge area, from India through Southeast Asia all the way to southern China.

Rarely spotted. Even though it lives in many places, the king cobra is shy and not often seen by people.
