Biggest dolphin. Even though it's called a 'killer whale,' the orca is actually the largest member of the dolphin family.

Tuxedo look. Orcas are easy to spot: black on top, white underneath, with bright white patches near their eyes.

Found everywhere. Orcas live in oceans all over the world, from the icy Arctic and Antarctic to warm tropical seas, but they love cooler coastal waters most.

Many kinds. Scientists think orcas around the world may actually be different types, and could even be split into separate species someday.
