Where they live. Antelopes are found across most of Africa, India, the Middle East, Central Asia, and even a small part of Russia.
A big family. Antelopes belong to the family Bovidae, which makes them relatives of cattle, goats, and sheep.
Plant eaters. They are ruminants, meaning they chew their food, swallow it, then bring it back up to chew again to digest tough plants.
Not one neat group. Antelopes aren't all closely related, some are actually closer cousins to cattle, goats, or sheep than to each other!
