Earthworm

No bones at all. Earthworms are invertebrates, which means they have no backbone or skeleton. Their soft, squishy bodies are made of many little ring-shaped segments.

Many nicknames. People call them lots of fun names like 'dew-worm', 'rainworm', 'nightcrawler', and 'angleworm'.

Soil dwellers. Earthworms live in the soil, tunneling through the ground as terrestrial members of a group called Annelida.

True blood vessels. Bigger earthworms have a real vascular system with tiny blood vessels called capillaries, plus a special band called a clitellum.
