Endless teeth. A great white has around 300 triangular, serrated teeth, and they're constantly being replaced when one falls out.
Two-tone disguise. It's grayish on top and white underneath, which helps it blend in whether seen from above or below.
Warm-ish blood. Unlike most fish, it's partially warm-blooded, letting it stay active even in cold water.
Built-in float. Its huge fatty liver can weigh over a quarter of its whole body, helping it stay buoyant and storing energy.
Big but not biggest. It's one of the largest sharks, but the whale shark and basking shark are even bigger.
