Thunderstorms pack punch. Thunderstorms bring lightning, heavy rain, and strong winds all at once. They can happen suddenly and cause flooding and damage to homes and trees.

Tropical cyclones swirl huge. Tropical cyclones (called hurricanes or typhoons in different parts of the world) are massive spinning storms over warm ocean water. They bring extreme winds, flooding rain, and can affect large areas for days.
Blizzards bury everything. Blizzards are severe snowstorms with heavy snow, strong winds, and very cold temperatures that make it impossible to see. They can trap people and vehicles and cause dangerous conditions.
Wildfires spread fast. Wildfires are uncontrolled fires that spread across forests and grasslands, especially during hot and dry weather. High winds and dry conditions make them grow quickly and destroy vast areas.
