Five living kinds. There are five species of rhino alive today, two live in Africa and three live in South and Southeast Asia.

Odd toes. Rhinos are 'odd-toed' animals, which means they have an odd number of toes on each foot, just like horses and tapirs.

Horn helmet. A rhino's famous horn isn't made of bone, it's made of keratin, the same stuff as your hair and fingernails!

Last of a family. Rhinos are the only living members of their animal family, making them very special survivors from ancient times.
