Cool facts
One player, many drums. A drum kit gathers drums, cymbals, and sometimes extras like a cowbell or tambourine, all arranged so a single musician can play them.
Feet join in. Drummers use pedals to play the bass drum and hi-hat, so their hands AND feet are all working together to make rhythm.
Sitting on a throne. The drummer sits on a special seat that's actually called a 'drum throne' while they play.
Sticks or brushes. To hit the drums and cymbals, players can use wooden drumsticks or soft wire and nylon brushes for a gentler sound.
