Thousands of photos needed. A short 10-second scene might need 200 to 300 photos! That's because the animator has to move the clay just a little bit between each shot, even tiny movements add up to smooth, realistic motion.
Built by hand. Everything in a claymation movie is hand-sculpted and hand-painted, from the tiniest character details to giant backdrops. It takes amazing patience and artistic skill.
Famous clayfilm classics. You might know movies like *Wallace & Gromit* or *Chicken Run*, which used claymation to create characters that feel real and funny and full of personality.
