Olympic spectacle. Diving is one of the coolest sports in the Olympics, where athletes show off amazing flips and twists before hitting the water. Judges score how perfectly they execute each move.
Two main types. Springboard diving uses a bendy board that bounces, while platform diving happens from a stiff, high tower. Each creates a totally different flying experience.
Acrobatic artistry. Divers perform spins, twists, and flips in the air before they hit the water, sometimes doing multiple rotations in just a few seconds. It takes amazing strength and courage.
