Cool facts
One person chases. In tag, one player is chosen to be "It" and has to chase all the other players around. When they touch someone, that person becomes the new "It" and the roles swap!
Known worldwide. Tag goes by different names around the globe! In India it's called "running and catching," in the Middle East it's "catch and cook," in Poland it's "berek," and in Vanuatu it's "lelu."
No equipment needed. Tag is beautifully simple, no balls, bats, scorecards, or teams required. All you need is a safe space to run, a group of friends, and your legs!
Touch means tagged. The way to tag someone is usually just by touching them with your hand. Once touched, the tagger says "It!" or "Tag, you're It!" to officially declare the new chaser.
