Many kinds of props. Jugglers can toss almost anything, balls, clubs, rings, even knives or flaming torches! The props they use are called 'props,' and choosing the right ones makes each performance unique.
Not just hands. While most juggling uses hands, skilled jugglers can bounce balls off their feet, head, or other body parts to add extra flair and surprise to their act.
Three main styles. Toss juggling (throwing and catching) is the most famous, but jugglers also spin plates, use devil sticks, twirl poi, or perform contact juggling where they keep a ball rolling along their body.
One or many objects. Jugglers can work with a single prop to master complex tricks, or they can handle tons of objects at once to create a dazzling show that feels impossible.
