Antler regrowth. Most male deer grow a brand-new set of antlers every year, then shed the old ones. The antlers are actually made of bone!

Plant munchers. Deer are ruminants, which means they chew their food, swallow it, then bring it back up to chew again to digest tough plants.

Reindeer rule. In reindeer, even the females grow antlers, they're the only deer where the girls join in too.

Antler battles. Male deer often use their antlers to push and wrestle each other during contests.
