God of thunder. Zeus was the Greek god of the sky and thunder, and his favorite weapon was a powerful lightning bolt.

King of gods. He ruled over all the other Greek gods as their supreme leader.

Lives on Olympus. Zeus and the other major gods were said to live high up on Mount Olympus, the tallest mountain in Greece.

Eagle messenger. The mighty eagle was Zeus's sacred animal and symbol of his royal power.
