Eight plus two. Squid have eight arms AND two longer tentacles, which they use to grab their food.

Giant eyes. Squid have large eyes to help them see in the dark, deep ocean water.

Inside skeleton. Instead of bones, squid have a thin, rod-like part called a gladius or 'pen,' made of a tough material called chitin.

Jet power. Squid can shoot water out of their soft bodies to zoom backward through the sea like a living rocket.
