Art got amazing. Renaissance artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo created some of the most beautiful paintings and sculptures ever made. They studied how light, shadow, and the human body really worked, making their art look more realistic and alive than ever before.

Ancient wisdom returns. Scholars rediscovered lost writings from ancient Greece and Rome and got super excited about the ideas inside them. This made people think differently about science, philosophy, and how to live a good life.

Florence started it all. A wealthy Italian city called Florence was the birthplace of the Renaissance, where rich families paid artists and thinkers to create incredible works. From there, this amazing creative energy spread across Italy and eventually all over Europe.

Everything was invented. The Renaissance brought breakthroughs in science, technology, and exploration, people built better telescopes, mapped new lands, and questioned old ideas about how the world works.

Culture everywhere. Literature, theater, architecture, and music all transformed during this time, as people created new styles inspired by classical beauty mixed with fresh, creative ideas.
