Ankylosaurus

Living tank. Ankylosaurus was covered in bony plates and spikes, making it one of the most heavily armored dinosaurs ever.

Club tail. Its name means 'fused' or 'bent lizard,' and it had a heavy club at the end of its tail for defense.

Last of its kind. It lived about 70 to 66 million years ago, making it one of the very last non-bird dinosaurs before they vanished.

Great belly. Its species name 'magniventris' means 'great belly', it had a big, wide body for digesting tough plants.

Still a mystery. Only a few specimens have ever been found, and a complete skeleton has never been discovered!
