Famous rings. Saturn is wrapped in stunning rings made of ice and rock, making it the most recognizable planet in our Solar System.
Super huge. Saturn is the second largest planet, with a radius about 9 times bigger than Earth's and over 95 times more mass.
Surprisingly light. Saturn has only an eighth of Earth's density, so light it would actually float in a giant bathtub of water!
Long journey. Saturn orbits the Sun once every 29.45 years, way out at about 1,434 million kilometers away.
Gas giant. Saturn is a gas giant with no solid surface to stand on, it's almost as big as Jupiter but has less than a third of its mass.
