Cool facts
Tossing and catching. The most popular kind of juggling is toss juggling, where you throw objects in the air and catch them in a pattern. You usually use your hands, but some jugglers are so skilled they use their feet or even their head.
Different props. Jugglers call the things they throw 'props,' and the easiest ones to start with are balls, clubs, or rings. Once you get good, you can juggle wild stuff like flaming torches, knives, or even chainsaws.
More than just balls. Juggling isn't only about tossing things up and down. It includes other cool prop skills like spinning plates on sticks, twirling poi (balls on strings), doing tricks with yo-yos, and even balancing hats on your head while you move them around.
One or many. You can juggle a single object to practice your timing, or you can juggle lots of objects at once. Most jugglers use one or two hands, but the best performers combine hand moves with tricks using other body parts.
Skill and art. People juggle for fun, to entertain others at circuses or street performances, as a competitive sport, or as a beautiful form of art that shows amazing body control.
